About Me

 12.30.2020 -  Bruce Kroeze -  ~1 Minute

I’m Bruce Kroeze, and this is my personal blog. Its “focus” is most anything that interests me that I care to talk about publicly.

I’m a lot of things, and think a lot of things not all of them fully compatible with each other. That’s OK by me. Consistency of thought isn’t one of my values.

I’m a father of two great kids, both in later teens now. I’m a devoted and lucky husband to Jessica Kroeze. I’m a career programmer/architect currently leading the Fairness team at Nike.

I never saw myself as a corporate programmer, but I do seem to know and understand the politics in big companies. That works, and I do like steady money. Nike has a very good culture for teams these days, and I find myself pleased to be helping increase the fairness for customers and to mess up the lives of “sneaker bot” owners.

For most of my life, I’ve also been a role-playing-gamer, not the video games (although I have enjoyed some), but rather the “make up stories” type of games.

That’s it for this installment, enjoy my blog!
